About Maris Tailor

For thirty-two years, Maris made bags for women who pay attention to detail.

It began at a table by the sea. Maris was eighteen when her grandmother put a knife in her hand and showed her how to cut leather without fighting it. She never wanted a large brand. She wanted to make a bag a woman could carry for years, the kind that holds a whole day inside it. Each one took the name of a city that changed her, and over the years they travelled from the Greek islands to the cafés of Lisbon, from Parisian commutes to morning walks in Berlin.
