A Farewell from Maris
A letter from Maris
My name is Maris. Fifteen years ago, I cut my first piece of leather at a small table by the sea, with my grandmother's hands guiding mine.
I never set out to build a big brand. I wanted to make bags a woman could carry for years, the kind that hold a whole life inside them. So I gave each one the name of a city that shaped me. Bilbao. Florence. Córdoba. Every journey, every woman I met, became a design.
Somewhere along the way, thousands of you carried a piece of that story with you. You wrote to me. You sent photos. You made this atelier feel less like a workshop and more like a home.
Today I am closing that home. Not because something went wrong, but because it is time. After fifteen beautiful years, I am ready to begin a new chapter, and I want to leave while my heart is still full.
What remains in this store is the last of everything I made. Final pieces. No restocks. When they find their owner, they are gone for good.
If one of them is meant to be yours, I would love for you to carry it. Thank you for believing in a small atelier by the sea.
